[RECAP] Jay Park In Malaysia Part 1

It was hot, hot, hot with fans wanting to get closer to the singer who is famous with his latest single Know Your Name – that’s right, it’s none other than Park Jaebeom or better known as Jay Park! Malaysia was the final stop for the singer in completing his Asian tour to promote his latest album, ‘New Breed’. Having spent two days in Malaysia, Jay Park made sure that his time with MYJaywalkers was spend wisely (A/N: Jaywalkers is the name for Jay’s fans, and MY refers to Malaysia).

Jay’s agenda started off with his showcase held for his fans at KL Live Centre. Fans, boys and girls alike, had been queuing up as early as 5 a.m so that they can get to the most front row in order to have a better view of the singer. The showcase started as soon as all fans entered the venue at 8pm. Having Baki Zainal, our very own famous TV celebrity, to host the event has made Jay Park and the crowd hyped right from the start. Jay Park performed 7  songs from his New Breed album, including Star, Girlfriend, Up and Down and not forgetting his title track Know Your Name.

In between his performances, Jay Park also spent time with lucky fans on stage and playing games with them. It was cute seeing the female fans trying to follow his choreography to Know Your Name. In the end, one winner was decided and she walked away with poster, Digi merchandise and an unforgettable precious memory with Jay Park.

Fans of Jay Park weren’t the only ones who received love on that night; Jay Park himself was surprised and thankful as MYJaywalkers showed their love for him with a surprise birthday celebration. Even though his birthday actually falls on the month before, everyone had a blast celebrating his birthday with a cute cake and video messages from fans.

The surprise for Jay Park did not end there as there was another surprise revealed for him. MYJaywalkers had collaborated with Pos Malaysia in creating a customised Jay Park stamps with several designs. The showcase ended with a happy atmosphere around 9.30 p.m. and the fan signing for selected lucky fans started soon after.

**The security guards doesn't allowed any recording or picture taking during the showcase which is kinda disappointing for the SNACK team but do look up for our Jay Park In Malaysia Part 2!^^
