[RECAP] Jay Park In Malaysia Part 2

Entering day two of his visit in Malaysia, Jay Park’s agenda consisted of photography and fan signing session with selected fans, plus the highlight event of the day which was the basketball match with his fans and our very own Malaysian celebrities!!

Held in Sri KDU, the students there had prepared some special performances for the audience while waiting for the arrival of the hero for the day. Jay Park arrived in his basketball attire and started off his first two events which were the photography session and the fan signing session around 6pm. Greeting his fans up-close with a bright smile, Jay successfully finished the sessions after 2 hours and started the basketball match that was the most anticipated event of the day.

The match was held between Jay Park and 8TV celebrities such as Guibo, Wind and Nick against Sri KDU basketball players and selected lucky MYJaywalkers, with Baki Zainal as the commentator. Though a bit awkward for the first few minutes, Jay Park managed to pick up his pace and led his team to victory in the basketball match. It was fun and exciting seeing Jay Park shooting the ball into the basket every time, and the crowd cheered like there’s no tomorrow whenever he scored. On another note, it was also amusing seeing how Nick, Wind and Guibo tried to score as well but failing cutely (most of the time ^^;;). The lucky MYJaywalkers also clearly had fun as they were able to play sports with their beloved idol, though they seemed to be in a bit of a struggle but with Jay’s help they managed to make a few scores.

Jay Park’s team was crowned the final victor of the basketball match, and photograph session with 8tv celebrity and MYJaywalkers together with Sri KDU basketball players follow right after.  The event ended on a happy note with everyone leaving the scene with a big smile, satisfied with the memories that Jay Park had given to them.

Thank you Digi, Universal Music Malaysia, Sri KDU and everyone else who were involved in bringing the man to Malaysia. Hopefully we were able to engraved fond memories into his heart as much as he did to ours. Thank you Jay Park, wishing you all the best in your future activities and we’ll be supporting you all the way. See you again in Malaysia someday.
